Webcam 3D Scanner

Project developed during the Computer Science master program at PUCRS which aims to reconstruct objects geometry using computer vision algorithms. The main idea is to sweep the object using a line laser and capture a set of images from different perspectives. Then process the images with our algorithm that identifies the laser line intensity and its position in the 3d space. Obtaining the geometry information the algorithm tessellate and renders the object with an error margin of 1cm, using conventional webcams.
